A wettable powder formulation of a residual contact insecticide for the control of adult malaria mosquito vectors in structures.
Product Description
KEY PRODUCT FACTS:

Odourless and non-staining residual insecticide.

Based on Bendiocarb, a unique carbamate insecticide for use in insecticide resistance management.

Highly effective against mosquitoes with good residual efficacy on wall materials (2 - 6 months according to WHOPES).

Bendiocarb is rapidly metabolized, excreted from the body and it is not persistent in the environment.

Used and trusted in more than 25 countries across Africa.
- Supplied in water soluble packaging, reducing exposure for the operator.
- No staining and good residual activity.
- Controls: Where the product is applied for adult malaria mosquito control it will also control cockroaches, bedbugs, ants, fishmoths and adult houseflies if these are present in the sprayed premises.

RESIDUAL ACTION:
The residual activity of Ficam VC as per WHOPES is 2 - 6 months.

100 and 125 g sachets.

Before using this product read the label carefully.
APPLICATION:
POROUS SURFACES:

Using a compression sprayer such as the Hudson Xpert, use an 8002E nozzle for porous surfaces (e.g. mud, concrete block etc.). Dilute 125 g (one sachet) Ficam® VC in 10 l of water and apply to 250 m² (10 l sprayer). A 100 g sachet in 8 l of water (200 m²).
NON-POROUS SURFACES:

Using a compression sprayer such as the Hudson Xpert, use an 8001E nozzle for non-porous surfaces (e.g. wood, painted surfaces etc.). Dilute 2 x 125 g (two sachets) Ficam® VC in 10 l of water and apply to 500 m² (10 l sprayer). 100 g in 8 l (400 m²).
